Hi, it’s Khaliyah.
And you know, I go through these phases where I am really good at working on my blog and keeping up with my social medias, but as of lately, life has been super crazy. Sooo, here I am to fill you in on the craziness that I call my life.
Something like, Khaliyah’s Krazy Life? Or is that too Kardashian?
Ha, anyway here the update:
In the middle of March the team and I started our GOGIVELOVE tour and it was hellllllaaaaaaaa bomb! We got to travel to and through different states and give back to small organizations that are making a big impact in their communities.
We went to Texas, California, Idaho, Iowa, and DC. We’re in the process of uploading all the content to our family website. So you can check that out here.
When we finished the tour we went back to our home state of North Carolina. While we were there for a VERY FEW hours, we came to the conclusion that there was nothing there for us really. I mean, of course, we have family/friends there but we don’t have a house, a car, or legally anything there that can tie us to that state.
So we had a family meeting where we talked about where we would to go and our final decision was to move to California.
That really wasn’t a shocker because we all love warm weather and we loved the environment of California when we visited on our tour. We didn’t get a chance to see everything and really experience California.
On Sunday was when we decided that we wanted to be in California and by Wednesday (the day after my birthday) we were here.
I guess you can say, I moved to California for my 21st birthday, ha!
Since then we’ve really been on our grind out here in California. We haven’t found our own place to stay yet but we’ve been really out here networking for DynamikWorks and for TeamBz with the intentions of securing MANY BAGS so that we can get our own place to stay and car because all we’ve had at this moment to do any of the traveling that we have done was just with a SUV rental.
Yes, across the country TWICE in a rental.
